We had a really comfortable stay at Matices, with a spacious and clean room. The bathroom had great water pressure and was spotless. The location next to the bus station was so convenient for our short stay. I'll definitely recommend this place.

While staying at Matices, we were impressed by the cleanliness and newness of the facility. The rooms were spotless and the communal cooking area was well-stocked. The location right next to the bus terminal was also very convenient for catching morning buses. The breakfast, including eggs, provided a good start to the day.

I recently stayed at Matices Hostel for a short stay and it was amazing! The location is perfect, right in front of the bus station, which was great for catching my late bus. The rooms were new, nice, and clean, and the showers were also very clean. The kitchen was spacious and had everything I needed. The staff, especially the person who checked me in, was incredibly sweet and helpful. I wish I could've stayed longer!

For the price we paid, we got great value and a really comfortable room. The location was convenient, right by the bus station, and we had a nice mountain view. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially on weekends.

Stayed here for a night in a dorm and it was perfect for a short stay. The hostel is right beside the bus station, which was really convenient. The staff, Marcello and Claudia, were incredibly nice and helped us find a last-minute tour to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. The location is great if you want to explore the Glacier area. The room was clean and the shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was included and the chill-out area had great music playing all day.

this hostel exceeded my expectations in el calafate. a fantastic experience at matices!

No soap in bathroom.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The kitchen was well equipped, perfect for cooking your own meals. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, making it a refreshing experience after a long day of exploring.

The wifi was only available in the reception area, which made it a bit inconvenient if you wanted to use it in the kitchen or other parts of the hostel. the noise from the kitchen could be heard in the corridors, causing some disturbances during late hours.

The beds in the hostel were a bit small and not very comfortable. the blankets provided seemed to be of poor quality, thin and threadbare in places.
